Switch on the lamp facing the slit. Pot A stays in the open, lit from all round
Leave both pots for three days
Look at the shoots in each pot
Pin a germinating bean on its side to the cork in the damp jar
Pin the other bean on its side to the cork of the clinostat
Switch on the clinostat, so it turns the bean slowly round
Leave both for two days
Look at the root and shoot of each bean
Answer the questions, then hand in
