Pick up the beaker of water and hold it over tube A
Pour a little onto the cotton wool, just enough to wet it
Hold the beaker of water over tube D
Wet the cotton wool in tube D the same way
Hold the beaker of boiled, cooled water over tube C
Pour it in until the seeds are well covered
With the dropper, put a layer of oil on the water in tube C to keep air out
Carry tube D into the fridge
Leave all four tubes for three days
Take tube D out of the fridge and stand it back in the rack
Look at the seeds in each tube
Answer the questions, then hand in
