Water bath
Choose a temperature
Pour a little starch solution into one tube
Pour a little amylase solution into the other tube
Stand both tubes in the water bath
Leave them two minutes to come to the temperature of the bath
Put a drop of iodine in each well of the spotting tile
Pour the amylase into the starch, and start your stopwatch as it goes in
Every 30 seconds by your stopwatch, take a drop of the mixture into the next well. Stop when a drop stays brown
